ClutterCoach helps you declutter and resell your belongings. This policy explains what we collect and why. We do not sell your data and we do not track you across other apps or websites.
When you scan a space, your photos are sent to our servers and to our AI analysis provider (Anthropic) to identify items and classify them into keep / donate / dispose / sell, and to draft resale listings. We use your photos to provide these features.
To estimate resale value we send item descriptions (not personal information) to the eBay pricing API to retrieve comparable asking prices.
When you are signed in, scene summaries, item classifications, your decisions, your inventory, and your AI-coach conversations (including the messages you send) are stored in our database (Supabase), so your history follows you across your devices.
Sign-in is currently available on iPhone and iPad only. On Android, and whenever you are signed out, your scans stay on your device and are not stored on our servers.
Sign in with Apple gives you a stable identity so your subscription and usage travel with you. Apple shares your name and email only on first sign-in, and only if you allow it. Your Apple identity token is verified on our server. Sign in with Apple is available on iPhone and iPad; the Android app currently has no sign-in, and runs entirely on-device.
Purchases are processed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play), depending on where you bought, and are managed through RevenueCat. We receive your subscription status, not your payment details.
Product recommendations link to retailer search pages (Amazon, Target, Walmart). These may in future carry affiliate parameters, in which case we may earn a commission; that would never change your price. We share no personal information with those retailers — the link carries only the search terms.
Every screen that shows AI-written text has a Report control. When you use it we store the text you reported, the reason you picked, which screen it came from, and the app version — so a person can read it and act on it. If you are signed in, the report is linked to your account so we can follow up and so it is removed when you delete your account. If you are not signed in, it is stored without any identifier for you. We do not store your IP address with a report.
You can delete everything we hold for you at any time. Use Delete account in the app, or visit cluttercoach.app/delete-data. Deletion removes your scan results, item classifications, decisions, inventory and AI-coach transcripts from our servers. Anything held only on your device is removed when you delete the app.
ClutterCoach is rated 4+ but is intended for adults managing a household. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, email support@cluttercoach.app and we will delete it.
We do not use your data for advertising and we do not sell it.
cluttercoach.app uses Vercel Web Analytics to count page views. It sets no cookies and stores nothing that identifies you; the app itself sends no analytics events.
